Stained Glass Services

Repairs:
At Stained Glass Ltd we believe that a repair should be prompt, complete and invisible. We make every effort to match the original leading, colors and textures of your existing window. Our repair service includes removal and re-installation; all you have to do is paint the outside of the sash when we're done.

New Work:
When we design a new window, we believe that you, the customer, should chose the style, pattern, colors and textures. We bring pattern books and glass samples to your house so that all the important decisions are made on site. The light that comes through your window is not the same as the light in our shop.

We enjoy the challenge of designing windows to match or harmonize with your existing stained glass. We welcome working with your designs – whether you sketched them yourself or fell in love with the patterns on a tile or vase.

Our Focus:
At Stained Glass Ltd we focus on residential art glass rather than sun catchers, lighting fixtures, church windows or free hanging panels. We strongly encourage our customers to repair or replace their storm windows rather than try to retrofit their stained glass into thermal pane replacement windows.

Gold Mirrored Glass:
We stock 1/16th inch thick (1.6mm) sheets of gold mirror to repair and reproduce the double-sided gold mirror in Chicago's historic stained glass windows. We can mirror the same thin glass with silver, Galena or copper for new stained glass designs.
